The Week of 24 - 29 June 2019

I'm on HOLIDAYS!! Wooooo HOOOOOO! I leave Tuesday, and return on the 10th of July. So, I'm not going to post until the 14th of July. I will, however, still buy our lottery tickets, and because I'll get them in Ontario, we may have a higher chance of winning, because many of the lottery winners come from there, right?

I'm am dropping a new pod this afternoon! I'm on Overcast as well as the other spaces. This week I talk with a good friend who is a teacher and we talk about US schools, independent schools, public schools... cool stuff. At least, I think it is. The Week of 17-21 June 2019

I'm late this week because I spent the weekend in Vancouver hanging with Contests Vancouver! We went to the Trevor Noah show on Saturday night and it was amazing. We laughed so hard, we were crying. He's very good and very funny and I'm so glad I got to see him live. 

Contests Van and I have known each other... oh... 36 years or so? And we had lofty goals like recording the Pod - twice! But, we just didn't have the time! What between drinking (I found a new drink - the Paloma - yummmmmmy!), eating, the show, drinking more, hanging out at the Roxy, talking to randos on Granville at 2am... and then passing out, we just didn't have the time!

Even though I flew Harbour Air (AMAZING people, srsly), I still ended up not having time to do anything yesterday. I sprained my ankle at the bar, but found some essential oils to use and it feels much better now. And the kids are off school now, but it doesn't mean my life slows down at all because we're leaving for Ontario next week so I gotta get all my poop in a group and prepare for that AND finish three more assignments before we leave. Hahahahaha, no stress, no stress, it's cool.

I'm going to try for an interview for the Pod at some point, especially now that I'm on Overcast, but I want to bring quality, not quantity.
