Ocean is giving us 12 chances to win NTN! Every hour starting at 6:10am, and going til 6:10pm, you get a chance to guess until it's won. They've given a hint: It is NOT an appliance! They have also (finally) put the noise on their website and a list of guesses so far (heh, beat them to it!).
So far, the guesses for the 2nd noise have been:
a hospital monitor,
a garburator with water running down it,
a food processor winding down,
a coffee percolator percolating,
an electric typewriter,
someone frothing milk for a fancy coffee,
someone slurping water through a straw,
a casino wheel that has those flappy tag things on it,
an air gun taking off lug nuts,
a bill sorter,
ice coming from an ice dispenser,
a Tassimo coffee maker,
an automatic card shuffler,
a coffee grinder,
a sewing machine's needle and thread,
a Salad Spinner,
water going down the drain,
slurping the last of a milkshake through a straw,
a golf ball/tee cleaner,
a bottle of Perrier pouring into a glass,
and water running down a drain (AGAIN!).
So, DO NOT guess these if you are caller 10, because you will waste your guess and be incorrect.
