The Zone's new Phrase That Pays is SUPER long - it talks about every dj in the roster and has alliteration up the wazoo. To top it off, they're not posting it on line or on their Facebook page. They're only reading it once/show and expecting to give the money away once/day if at all. Ok... now I get that the first three were a little easy - and the money reflected that. But for $1000 (not $10K) I'd expect a little more help that a 30 second reading that I have to catch 3 times/day to write down the whole thing. Srsly.
The Q has the Rock Door (missed their prize today) and a DVD of Mockingjay Part 2 on the Polka Monster this week.
Their $10K (get that, Zone? $10K!!) Potluck contest starts next week and runs til the 22nd. You get three chances/day - 0740 (of course, right when Fiesta Fugitive is playing *sigh), 11:30, and 4:30 - to call in and pitch your item (or items or service) to get an invite to the Potluck Party on the 27th. They do a reverse draw where you get to pick something from the prize table and the last person gets the $10K. I have a s-ton of stuff in this house. I'm SURE I could come up with something. You never know what they'll take either - 8 track tapes, Betamax movies, a crockpot without a lid... or that signed guitar pick from Jesse Roper. Who knows?!
They have tix to the Women's Sevens Rugby during the 4pm sports broadcast this week.
