This recipe makes a lot. Like 5 full large freezer bags a lot. I find it stays fresh for ~ 5 to 6 weeks if I bag it right away and keep it in the cold cellar and just take out a bag as I need it.
Measurements are approximate. You'll need big pans to bake it. I find two of those big disposable turkey pans work well.
What you need:
~ 400 g Bugles
~ 400 g golden grahams (I use the walmart brand that comes in a bag)
~ 500 g honey nut cheerios (again - walmart brand in a bag here)
~ 400 g honey Chex
2 bags cheddar crunchits (you know those hard cheesy things?)
What you do:
Preheat over to 250. Mix above together evenly in two large pans.
In blender, add and blend until well mixed:
2 1/2 cups veg oil
2 tsp celery salt
3 tsp onion powder
3 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp Tabasco or hot sauce
4 tsp soy sauce
Pour over dry ingredients and stir until well coated. Bake for 2 hrs, stirring every 1/2 hour. Let cool, bag and store up to 6 weeks.
