I love where I live. I hate that it's always 4-5 degrees colder than where I work. I hate the cold. LOATHE it. I'm much happier in a warm, sunny climate, with gentle breezes and long days. This winter stuff is icky. This is why my mum moved to Australia 27 years ago.

I'm not able to listen to the Zone or the Q very much at work as their transmitter isn't putting out (heh). Every other radio station in town comes in crystal clear, but I'm not much for dance music, so I prefer the modern rock or 'classic' rock the Zone or the Q plays... but the fuzz drives me crazy. So guys, knock off the ice and get another gerbil to run the power because I'd really like to listen to you and not to the hip-hop-dance-rap-stuff on the other stations.

CFAX I have a suggestion for you. When talking about people, groups of people, students, volunteers... they are "WHOs", not "That's". eg: "Many people WHO need help", not "Many people THAT need help." Please... this is your job. This is what you do for a living. The print media is already doing a hatchet job on our language, why would anyone WHO works in a business where they require good grammar and enunciation misspeak? It's already happening in everyday language, so please, be a last bulwark against dehumanizing groups of people. It happens every morning and as broadcasters, you should know better.
